WISE Attracts International Attention

Wuhan, China -- Bruce R. Kingma, Professor and Associate Dean (Syracuse University School of Information Studies), presented “The WISE Future of Online Teaching and Learning” to an international audience at the 2006 Sino-US Symposium on LIS Education in Asia in the School of Information Management held at Wuhan University, in Wuhan, China on October 9-10.

Dr. Kingma spoke about the history of WISE, the 3 Pillars of WISE (Quality, Pedagogy, and Collaboration), and the benefits of membership.  The presentation also included information on joining the consortium.
