ALISE 2005 Conference

Administrators from the WISE founding member schools (the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University & the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) convened with potential member schools on January 11, 2005, during the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) 2005 Annual Conference, for an organizational meeting. 

 

Following the organizational meeting, Pat Lawton, Visiting Coordinator of Instructional Design at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, facilitated a pedagogy session open to all ALISE attendees.  Panelists presented on and exchanged ideas about community building in an online environment.  PowerPoint presentations from the session can be downloaded below:
