What Does it Mean to Be a WISE School?

WISE member schools excel in providing high quality education in library and information science, and are committed to furthering distance education through collaboration.

WISE schools have access to administrative, pedagogical, and technical support.  Faculty at WISE schools participate in educational programs focused on best practices in online pedagogy through the WISE consortium.

Why Be a WISE School?

WISE member schools have the opportunity to provide their students with a wide array of special topics courses offered by other WISE member schools committed to quality online education.  WISE schools can choose which WISE courses are offered to their students, and which of their own courses are made available to the consortium.  Through this collaboration, WISE schools may be able to attract a more diverse student body.
